I always find that nature inspires my work, and each season leads to new ideas. I’m an avid gardener, and I love spending my time in nature, surrounded by beautiful plants and flowers.
Each of these pieces has been made by using a natural, real leaf or flower, collected from my garden, or walks. Each leaf and flower are then pressed in my vintage flower press for 4 weeks, before being imprinted into solid sheet silver via my rolling mill (no silver clay here!). This process leaves a fantastic impression, which I then enhance with a blackening agent. Each leaf and flower are destroyed in the process, so no two pieces will ever be exactly the same- just like in nature.
