Is there anything more British than a hedgehog? I’m lucky enough to be a hedgehog soft release site for my local wildlife hospital, and every hog I see has a different personality! They capture my heart with their cute antics and funny ways, they bring me so much pleasure to watch! There are sadly now less than a million wild hedgehogs in the UK, and I can’t bear to think of living without these little guys snuffling around the garden each evening. As such, a percentage of each sale from my hedgehog pieces goes to the South Essex Wildlife Hospital- true heroes for all wildlife, to help support their wonderful work. So now you can treat yourself to something cute for a fantastic cause!

This incredibly cute sterling silver Hetty the Hedgehog ring is ready to make you smile! Hand polished to a super shiny finish to catch the eye, this little lady was made to be admired! Handmade in Sterling Silver, this lovely ring has been created by me in my garden studio. It features a little flat silver Hetty hedgehog on a solid beaded silver ring band. This ring is super versatile, and can be worn alone, or in a stack of rings (examples shown in the further images). This Hetty the hedgehog ring would is perfect for gifting, or keeping for yourself! She looks great with my matching hedgehog items!

Each sale of this item includes a £4 donation to support South Essex Wildlife Hospital- for whom my garden is one a hedgehog release site. We’ve currently released 14 hedgehogs here at Black Cat HQ, but many more will need to be cared for over winter at the hospital, along with plenty more injured and desperate wildlife. The team do an amazing job, and work so hard everyday to keep our wildlife safe and well, they’re also the nicest people you’ll meet! It’s a fantastic charity, and relies entirely on donations. She would make a lovely gift for any special occasion, and is perfect for everyday wear. Each piece is formed and made by hand, so there will be slight variations between each piece. This makes each item truly unique to you!

Jewellery Care:
To extend the life of your jewellery items, please remove your jewellery before showering/bathing and swimming. Avoid contact with water, allow perfumes and body lotions to dry before putting your jewellery on, and avoid catching your item where possible. Sterling Silver will tarnish naturally when it isn’t worn, but can be bought back to a lovely shine with a soft cloth, or silver cloth. Please don’t use a silver cloth or polish on gold vermeil items.
