This collection is a little bit of me. I can’t go near water without having a paddle. If there’s one place I always want to be, it’s at the beach, feet in the water, beachcombing for treasures. The obsession started when I was a toddler, and I’ve never grown out of it, it’s part of who I am.
The way the waves soothe the soul, the water and sand make you feel so connected to mother nature, that all of your worries just fade away. The salt on the breeze, and the messy, don’t care hair. The sea doesn’t care what you look like, it just pulls you into it’s cool embrace.
I can never leave without a pocket full of shells and pebbles, memories of that feeling of utter calm, happiness and acceptance.
And this is the inspiration behind my seashell collection, born of the waves, created for my fellow beachcombers. A sense of calm and carrying the sea with you, wherever you go.
